The professional pathways available for registered nurses includes advanced practice degrees, leadership, research, informatics, care coordination, specialization, and education.? Join USU Alumnae, Tamara Martinez-Anderson for a comprehensive overview of your options for academic progression and how to plan for a future of success beyond your RN degree.

Join us in WIDT 007 for this presentation directed at Nursing students. However, all students, faculty, and staff are welcome.

Join us on Tuesday, February 25th for a Pre-Health presentation from Tamara Martinez-Anderson (American Studies '94). Tamara has titled her talk "Medical School Admissions: Preparing for Success using AAMC Core Competencies ."

With a commitment by medical schools to utilize a holistic review process, the criteria used to evaluate applicants is evolving. Join USU Alumnae, Tamara Martinez-Anderson for insights into what it takes to successfully navigate and prepare for the medical school admissions process. She’ll introduce the core competencies identified by the Association of American Medical Colleges and discuss the experiences valued by admission committees when evaluating candidates.?

Join us in ESLC 046 for this presentation directed at Pre-Health students. However, all students, faculty, and staff are welcome.

Center for Anticipatory Intelligence information session

The CAI is now accepting applications for its 2020-2021 cohort program and is hosting a general info session for those interested in the Anticipatory Intelligence minor and graduate certificate. CAI interdisciplinary programs focus on emergent security challenges to the U.S., such as cybersecurity and disinformation. Students who are curious how their own field fits into the broader national and global security picture––and who want to expand their horizons by working with academic, government, and industry experts across STEM and social science fields––are a great fit.
