Yoga at the Preserve

Want to start your day with a clear mind and a happy body? Join us on the Wetland Pier at the Swaner EcoCenter for a vinyasa yoga practice. Take in the peaceful views of the Swaner Preserve while our instructor leads you through the practice. In the case of inclement weather, yoga will take place in our Exhibit Hall. Please bring your mat and plan to arrive at least 10 minutes in advance.

Of Moose and Men

Sam Robertson, USU Wildlife Technician, will be presenting his research on Utah moose population fluctuations and factors affecting their survival. Learn about how he radio collared moose in the Wasatch and the north slope of the Uintas, how he tracked them throughout the year and the fascinating data he collected. Be sure to register to ensure your spot!

Explore the Swaner Preserve wetlands with a guide! You'll learn about the incredible wonders of wetlands, native plant and animal species, and the history of the Swaner Preserve. Depending upon the time of year, lucky hikers may see an abundance of birds, elk, or even nesting sandhill cranes!
