Powder Mountain Skiing/Snowboarding Day

Recreation

Come join us for a day of skiing/snowboarding at Powder Mountain resort. We will meet up at Outdoor Programs, load up our ski/snowboard gear, and head to Powder Mountain to burn some turns. All riding abilities are welcome as there is terrain for everyone. Trip cost includes transportation and Powder Mountain lift ticket. Discounted ski rentals are available for an additional $10. The goal of the conference is to highlight the necessity of DEI in various capacities (e.g., race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, socioeconomic status, nationality, multigenerational/age, religion, etc.) that will help to shape the future of what diversity, equity, and inclusion looks like in different spaces. February is National Eating Disorder Awareness month and to bring more awareness to this issue, we will be teaching Every Body Rocks classes (from the curriculum designed by Brooke Parker, RD). When his brother Jon handed operations of Kodiak Cakes over to him in 1997, Joel was a 23-year-old economics major attending the University of Utah. Over the next 12 years, Joel juggled side jobs, earned an MBA from Oxford University, and still found time to make Kodiak Cakes a success.

Savanna has also served as both author and editor for the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and currently works as a student attorney for the Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic.

Intuitive eaters march to their inner hunger signals and eat whatever they choose in a satisfying way, without experiencing guilt or an ethical dilemma. The Intuitive Eater is an unaffected eater. Please join us for a pre-show panel discussion for The Moors on Friday, February 11 at 6:45 p.m. Panelists Dr. Nicola Olsen (theatre historian and dramaturg), Dr. Keri Holt (18th and 19th century American literature scholar), and Prof. Paul Mitri (director) will answer questions about the play, 19th century literature, and women's roles in historical literature and contemporary theatre.

Two sisters and a dog live out their lives on the bleak English moors dreaming of love and power. The arrival of a hapless governess and a moor-hen set all three on a strange and dangerous path. The Moors by Jen Silverman is a dark comedy about love, desperation, and visibility.

Please join us for a pre-show panel discussion for The Moors on Friday, February 11 at 6:45 p.m. Panelists Dr. Nicola Olsen (theatre historian and dramaturg), Dr. Keri Holt (18th and 19th century American literature scholar), and Prof. Paul Mitri (director) will answer questions about the play, 19th century literature, and women's roles in historical literature and contemporary theatre.

Powder Mountain Skiing/Snowboarding Day

Come join us for a day of skiing/snowboarding at Powder Mountain resort. We will meet up at Outdoor Programs, load up our ski/snowboard gear, and head to Powder Mountain to burn some turns. All riding abilities are welcome as there is terrain for everyone. Trip cost includes transportation and Powder Mountain lift ticket. Discounted ski rentals are available for an additional $10.
