Lunch & Learn - Food Allergies vs Food Sensitivities: What's The Difference?

Workshop/Training

USU Be Well and Registered Dietitian, Brooke Lister, present a lunch and learn on the differences between food allergies and sensitivities. Food allergies and sensitivities are becoming more common in today’s world. Approximately 32 million people in the US have diagnosed food allergies. However, there are many more people that seem to struggle with food sensitivities. There are a couple of key differences between food allergies and food intolerances so it is important that we are able to recognize those differences and how to appropriately treat both. This presentation will go over the similarities and differences between food allergies and sensitivities and steps to take to determine any food sensitivities you may have. *Presentation will be available in person and virtually and will be recorded. Attendance and participation in this event qualify as an activity for the Be Well Rewards program.
