American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS) Team Science Training Workshop

Limited spots are open (sponsored by the Ecology Center) to all USU grad students, faculty, and research staff. Please contact daniel.carolan@usu.edu for registration information.

This two-day intensive, interactive professional development course is a microcosm of scientific collaboration, with extensive hands-on learning using scientific case studies & examples.

Science is increasingly an interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, inter-institutional, and international endeavor. The questions confronting science often require teams that may include a mix of computer and information scientists, physical and social scientists, mathematicians, ethicists, policy and management experts, as well as community stakeholders and citizen scientists. There is a real need to better prepare scientists for success in this new collaborative environment.

This course is designed for anyone involved in collaborative science, including graduate students, post-docs, and early-career professionals.
