In the summers of 2018 & 2019, CAS trainee Lindsay Capito interned with Living Lakes Canada and CABIN, The Canadian Aquatic Biomonitoring Network. As an intern, Lindsay: 1) created a training manual for First National communities in British Columbia; and 2) collaborated on a protocol for CABIN.

The research monitored stream health in a region undergoing rapid climate changes.

Lindsay gained a skillset in communicating science to non-science audiences, remote collaboration, CABIN procedure, and understanding eDNA theory and procedures.
