Emily Fletcher's CAS Internship with Logan City's Environmental Department

In the summer of 2021, CAS trainee Emily Fletcher interned with Logan City's Environmental Department under the mentorship of Emily Malik, Logan City's Sustainability Coordinator. 

As an intern, Emily inventoried greenhouse gases on a government- and city-wide level. She also assisted with the city's recycling education campaign and creating social media posts on behalf of the department. 

Emily gained skills in data management and procurement, public outreach, and utility distribution while interning for Logan City.
