Adrian Gonzalez internship with The Ocean Conservancy

During the summer of 2022, CAS trainee Adrian Gonzalez interned with the Ocean Conservancy under the mentorship of Chris Robbins and Dr. George Leonard. His internship project was to assist in developing a map of deep-sea mining conflicts. 

During his internship, Adrian gained skills in: collecting and synthesizing large datasets from different resources and repositories; and GIS analyses and spatial visualization.
