Cody Ratterman's CAS Internship with Apogee Instruments

Through the summer of 2023 and fall of 2024, CAS trainee Cody Ratterman interned with Apogee Instruments under the mentorship of Mark Blonquist, Chief Scientist at Apogee, and Dr. Bruce Bugbee, founder and President of Apogee. 

During his internship, Cody worked with Cloudburst Weighing Precipitation Gauges and Heated Precipitation Detectors. His work assisted Apogee in maintaining instrument accuracy and development.

During his internship, Cody gained skills in data logging, programming, data analysis, problem solving, electrical engineering, and corporate collaboration.
