Bryn Watkin's CAS Internship with the Utah Farmers Market Network

In the summer of 2024, CAS trainee Bryn Watkins interned with the Utah Farmers Market Network under the advisement of Dr. Roslynn McCann, and assistant professor at Utah State University and an community extension specialist. 

Bryn had the opportunity to attend farmer's markets across northern Utah where she conducted sticker surveys. These survey's helped measure attendance and provided insight to who attended the markets and why they attended the markets. 

During her internship, Bryn gained skills in survey methods, volunteer coordination and management, and data translation for public action.
