Utah State University 140th Commencement

University Commencement Ceremony

Students who graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 are invited to participate in the 2027 graduation ceremonies which include the University commencement and college convocations. The Commencement Ceremony will include the traditional walk from the University Quad to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum where there will be the awarding of honorary degrees, Commencement speeches, and the conferring of degrees upon all graduates. At the college convocation, your name is read, and you "walk" up to be recognized, receive a diploma cover, and have a professional photo taken. Tickets are not required for any graduation ceremonies.

  • 5:30 p.m. Assemble — All graduating students and faculty will assemble on the University Quad
  • 6:00 p.m. Academic Procession — University Quad to Dee Glen Smith Spectrum
  • 7:00 p.m. 140th Commencement Ceremony — Dee Glen Smith Spectrum

Commencement Procession

The Academic Procession marks the official start of Commencement. Graduates will process from the University Quad to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. Family and friends are welcome to cheer along the route. The 30-minute procession is also broadcast live inside the Spectrum.

Event Parking

Free parking is available throughout campus to all students and their guests during Commencement. Downloadable parking maps are available for the Spectrum and Newel and Jean Daines Concert Hall.

Digital and Commemorative Program

A full digital program for the 2027 ceremonies, including all student names, will be available online. Personalized, printed commemorative programs will also be available to pre-order through Aggie Print. Due to ongoing edits and production timelines, printed programs are not guaranteed to be available prior to the ceremonies.
