Fiestas Américas
Fiestas Américas is one of Utah State University’s longstanding cultural traditions, originating in 2003 under the name “Salsabration”. Later, in 2014, the name was changed to Fiestas Américas to “help students throughout the community feel included” and show an emphasis on “...celebrating all Latin America”. This annual event brings the richness of Latino culture to the USU campus and surrounding community through a mix of vibrant dancers, talented singers, colorful art displays, and traditional foods highlighting the vibrancy of life throughout Latin American cultural heritage.
Every contribution helps keep this tradition alive, ensuring Fiestas Américas continues to shine and bring people together for years to come. Thank you for supporting this meaningful event and helping us preserve a tradition which holds a special place at Utah State University.
International Connections Night
The International Connections Night at Utah State University has grown over many decades in to one of the institution’s most cherished cultural traditions. The International Student Association firmly established the event's roots in the early 1980s when it hosted the first documented banquet and accompanying international events on campus.
What began as a gathering focused on cultural exchange, friendship, and community has evolved into a vibrant celebration featuring global cuisine, artistic performances, and enthusiastic participation from students, families, and community members. The banquet has embraced creative themes, immersive presentations, and a broadening range of cultural expressions, becoming a unifying event highlighting the richness of the international connections at USU. We deeply appreciate your contributions to support the continuation of this longstanding tradition.
