There Are Two Ways to Take Connections (USU 1010)

Pre-Semester Connections

August 20-22, 2025 Wednesday – Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Connections Luminary Friday 8:30-10 p.m.
Online assignments through October 17, 2025
Pre-Semester Connections is only offered fall semester

(Pre-semester Connections course are offered at all of the USU Campuses listed below)

In addition to the class time listed, students also need to plan to attend Friday August 22 from 8:30-10:00pm for the luminary. It is a required part of the class.

Semester Connections

August 25-October 13, 2025

Meet twice a week for 90 minutes for the first seven weeks of the semester
Semester Connections is offered both fall and spring semesters

Participating in Connections has helped me to feel more connected to my peers, more confident in my ability to do well in college, and has set me up with a wealth of resources. The most helpful part of Connections for me was learning about all of the resources that are available to students on campus from SNAC to CAPS to Aggie Blue Bikes. I now utilize these resources including SNAC and feel that I can be successful because I have such a strong community backing me up.

Although I’ve lived in the valley for my whole life and I’ve spent a lot of time on campus while growing up I thought it was very helpful that campus resources were shown as well as things to do on and around campus.

I feel I’ve gained an insight of how to be a baseline college student. What I mean is, I’ve been given the insight and guidance to being a successful student at USU. I also found myself feeling more confident, after taking this class, in my ability to adapt to this college life style that is so new to me.
