Pre-Semester Connections
August 26-28, 2026 Wednesday – Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Connections Luminary Friday 8:30-10 p.m.
Online assignments through October 20, 2026
Pre-Semester Connections is only offered fall semester
(Pre-semester Connections courses are offered at the Logan, Eastern (Price), Blanding, Tooele, and Roosevelt Campuses)
In addition to the class time listed, students also need to plan to attend Friday, August 28 from 8:30-10:00pm for the luminary. It is a required part of the class.
Semester Connections

January 11-March 2, 2027
Meet twice a week for 90 minutes for the first seven weeks of the semester
Semester Connections is offered both fall and spring semesters

USU 1010: Connections is Utah State University's first-year experience course, designed to help students succeed academically, build meaningful connections, and navigate the transition to college. Through support from faculty and peer mentors, students develop the skills and habits needed to thrive at USU.
