PCI Compliance is responsible for ensuring that USU's card systems comply with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The sole focus of PCI is protecting businesses and customers valuable private information when using credit cards.
What is PCI?
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards designed to ensure that ALL companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. This is the standard that we follow to ensure that all of our digital transactions on USU campuses are safe and secure.
