About This Minor

This minor will provide students with a foundational understanding of air traffic control.

It will utilize a blend of classroom instruction, online modules, and simulated scenarios. Courses will cover essential topics such as air traffic control fundamentals, tower operations, the functioning of the national airspace system, and the influence of weather on aviation.

What You Will Learn

You will learn about air traffic control principles and how aviators navigate the world's busiest and most complex airspace system.

Through this training, you'll grasp essential communication techniques and showcase proficiency in terminal aircraft separation within simulated environments. Additionally, you'll gain insights into weather principles, understanding their impact on aviation planning and flight operations.
