About This Minor
The Animal and Dairy Sciences minor at Utah State University offers students an opportunity to complement their major with valuable knowledge in animal production and management.
This minor is particularly beneficial for students pursuing majors in agricultural education, agricultural economics, plant science, nutrition and food science, business, economics, computer science, rangeland resources, and other disciplines where the animal industry has direct or indirect involvement.
What You Will Learn
Students will learn the fundamentals of animal science and gain expertise in various animal production practices. They will also have the option to explore diverse topics such as companion animal nursing, equine-assisted interventions, and ethical issues in genetic engineering and biotechnology.
