This is the perfect way to acquire carpentry fundamental skills and knowledge for entry-level employment or advance to a more comprehensive building construction, internship, apprenticeship, certificate, or degree.

Students who complete the certificate and obtain related employment will have the option to continue training as apprentices in their chosen craft and receive state, national, and industry certifications.

What You Will Learn

Students are exposed to advanced skills such as building site layout, concrete, framing, interior finishes and exterior finishes. Students also gain knowledge of construction materials, blueprint reading, and estimating.
