About This Certificate
The Undergraduate Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law and Policy provides students with a broad introduction to, and overview of, environmental and natural resource law and policy and associated processes, including existing legal and policy structures and frameworks; and additional law and policy knowledge and policy analysis skills based on student selection among complementary courses offered at Utah State University.
Adding the certificate on to a major in various different fields can provide valuable skills and knowledge, including for jobs and careers in natural resources, the environment, agriculture, community and city planning, business, law, and public policy, among others.
Certificate completion also can assist students in preparation for an advanced professional degree in law.
