About This Minor

The Horticulture minor at Utah State University's College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, Department of Plants, Soils and Climate, provides students with a comprehensive understanding of horticulture and its applications in diverse environments.

Students will gain knowledge in soil science, pest management, fruit and vegetable production, and ornamental horticulture.

What You Will Learn

Students will learn about various aspects of horticulture, including soil science, pest management, fruit and vegetable production, organic agriculture, residential landscapes, turfgrass management, and greenhouse management.
