About This Degree
Turn hands-on technical training into a bachelor's degree and a career in one of today's fastest-growing industries.
The Bachelor of Science in Robotics, Automation, and Control Systems combines industry-aligned technical training with the professional and analytical skills needed to advance in modern manufacturing and automated industries. Students complete approved Automation Technology and Control Systems and Robotics certificates through Utah technical colleges and can apply up to 50 credits directly toward the bachelor's degree. Utah State University is the only institution in Utah that accepts all 50 credits as part of this pathway.
After completing their technical training, students build skills in data visualization, operations management, quality management systems, workplace safety, leadership, and project management. Students also work with an academic advisor to customize elective coursework that aligns with their career goals and interests. Graduates are prepared to contribute to and lead teams that improve quality, productivity, and performance in automated and technology-driven organizations.
