Implement badges in the Professional Development Pathways program require you to:
- Introduce a new method, technique, or pedagogical approach into a course you teach
- Write a two- or three-paragraph evidence-based reflection highlighting the impact the new method, technique, or pedagogical approach had in your course
Implement badges provide space to reflect on your teaching as a scholarly practice.
For Implement badges, we encourage (but do not require) you to implement a method, technique, or pedagogical approach you learned about while earning an Engage badge.
How to Write an Implement Badge Reflection
To help you craft a concise, two- or three-paragraph reflection for an Implement badge, we ask for each submission to accomplish the following:
Describe the change
Present evidence
Reflect on and preview additional changes
What Evidence Can I Collect and Include for an Implement Badge?
Some forms of evidence include but are not limited to:
- Anonymized qualitative information from students, such as emails or Canvas messages
- Anonymous mid-semester or end-of-the-semester survey data
- Canvas analytics
- Qualitative comments from IDEA surveys
- Quantitative data from IDEA surveys
