Planning, Design, & Construction

What We Do

Facilities Planning, Design & Construction (FPD&C) is a group of professional architects, engineers, and project managers that oversees the development of the university’s physical facilities, from planning and early project development, through design and construction. This is true for all types of building and infrastructure projects on all USU campuses statewide, which include major capital development and capital improvement projects.

Planning

Developing and maintaining the long-term USU Master Plan, as well as master plans for all statewide campuses and additional specialized plans and studies.

Design

Providing architectural and engineering design services for new buildings, renovations, and infrastructure projects, ensuring that all projects meet the university's standards and requirements.

Construction

Overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
