Monument Valley Building
The New Monument Valley Education Building is set to become a hub of learning and community engagement, featuring modern classrooms, computer labs, a nursing and CNA lab, a Career & Technical Education lab, a small business development space, a welding lab, areas for adult education and USU Extension, administrative and faculty offices, and spaces for community gatherings and public events.
Purpose
Strategically located just northwest of Monument Valley High School, this planned 10,000-square-foot facility will serve the students and community members of the Navajo Nation. The center will house state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, a nursing and CNA lab, a Career & Technical Education lab, a small business development space, a welding lab, and areas for adult education and USU Extension. It will also feature administrative and faculty offices and venues for community gatherings and public events.
Designed for comprehensive education, the building will support distance learning and offer a wide range of certificates and degrees, from technical certificates to doctorate degrees. It will also provide academic guidance, counseling services, and career mentoring, along with opportunities for concurrent enrollment in collaboration with the high school.
