Bear Lake Research Grants

A man leans over the railing of a cabin deck next to a green field with sparse wildflowers. The field is on a hill overlooking Bear Lake and the mountains on the other side of the lake.

USU’s Janet Quinney Lawson Institute for Land, Water, and Air, in collaboration with the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands, has awarded research grants for the Bear Lake Needs Assessment project, an interdisciplinary research effort to help inform and impact future management actions on Bear Lake and surrounding areas.

Additional Support

An important aim of this program is to create broader awareness and an integrated community for Bear Lake management and research issues. As such, researchers will have opportunities to collaborate with management and policy-related activities and participate in stakeholder meetings, symposia, and retreats.

As we build out the components and stages of this unique program for Bear Lake research, we will post information on events and presentations in our newsletter and on social media. Reports will be added to this website when they are finalized. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact Anna McEntire.
