Applied Economics is a great field of study because it can connect and add contributions to everything. The best advice I have is to personalize your learning, focus on issues and problems that you care about, while always being open to new and exciting topics. Invest time now in your analytical and communication skills, you will never regret it. Lastly, making connections and relationships with your classmates, professors, and those you meet at job fairs or internships can be huge springboards to your success.
