SNAC Center
When you have trouble accessing enough food, use the SNAC (Student Nutrition Access Center) pantry - no questions asked. It's convenient, whether you don't have time to eat or prepare food, or simply forget to eat because of how busy you are. You can get food once a week. All you need to bring is your USU ID and any reusable bag.
They ask SNAC patrons to only take food for themselves. If you are interested in getting food for people other than yourself, the Cache Community Food Pantry will be better able to assist you and your family.
The Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC) is a program dedicated to serving USU students and the Cache Valley community. The heart of SNAC is the student food pantry, The SNAC Pantry. In addition to the pantry, SNAC has auxiliary programs to provide additional resources to students including a Nutrition Program and a Community Education Program. SNAC is a program of the USUSA Val R. Christensen Service Center and an extension of the Cache Community Food Pantry.
The Student Nutrition Access Center contributes to an environment of growth and encouragement supporting students in pursuit of a higher education and a healthier lifestyle through community strengthening, partnering, and student leadership.
The SNAC Center is located in the Taggart Student Center, Room 332. More information is available on the SNAC web page.
