Contest Overview
Celebrate the festive season by showcasing your creativity! Design an international holiday card that captures the spirit of global cultures and traditions. Your design could be featured on the official Global Engagement holiday card and win you an exciting prize!
Eligibility
- Open to all USU students
- Each participant can submit one design
Submission Requirements
- Theme: The card must represent international holiday traditions, cultures, or celebrations
- Design Specifications:
- Size: 5x7 inches or 7x5 inches.
- Format: JPEG or PNG.
- Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI.
- Content: The design must be original and not contain any copyrighted material. Text, if included, should be minimal and relevant. The USU logo and the text “Global Engagement” must be included in the design. (Download logo here)
- Submission Process:
- Email your design to global.engagement@usu.edu with the subject line "Holiday Card Design Contest Submission."
- Include your full name, contact information, and a brief description of your design (100 words or less).
Deadline
- All entries must be submitted by December 12, 2025.
Judging Criteria
- Creativity and Originality: Unique interpretation of the theme.
- Aesthetic Appeal: Visual attractiveness and festive spirit.
- Cultural Representation: Accurate and respectful representation of international holiday traditions.
- Technical Skill: Quality of design and attention to detail.
Prizes
- Global Engagement hoody sweatshirt
- The winning design will be showcased on our website and social media channels.
Winner Announcement
- Winners will be announced on December 17, 2025, via email and on our social media platforms.
Terms and Conditions
- By submitting a design, you grant us the right to use your artwork for promotional purposes, including but not limited to digital and print media.
- Designs must be original and not infringe on any third-party rights.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to the guidelines or is deemed inappropriate.
