How to Read Your Audit

Degree Works organizes your information into several sections to help you track your academic progress.

Student Information

This section displays your current major, catalog year, class standing, and any declared minors or emphases.

Degree Requirements

This section outlines the requirements needed to complete your degree, including:

  • General Education requirements
  • Major requirements
  • University requirements
  • Elective credits

Each requirement will indicate whether it has been satisfied, is in progress, or is still needed.

Requirement Status Indicators

Degree Works uses visual markers to show the status of each requirement. These indicators help you quickly identify completed requirements, courses currently in progress, and outstanding requirements.

Courses may appear in different sections of the audit depending on how they apply to your degree program.

Work with Your Advisor

Advisors can also provide guidance on opportunities such as undergraduate research, internships, student organizations, and other experiences that support your academic success.

  • Degree Works updates regularly, but recent changes (registration, major changes, substitutions) may take time to appear.
  • Always meet with your academic advisor to confirm graduation requirements.
  • If something appears incorrect, contact your academic advisor.
