Academic Scheduling Best Practices & Procedures
General Guidelines
- All changes to the Academic Schedule should be submitted in Coursedog except for changes to classes that do not meet during the full 14 or 7 week terms. These classes are built in a special way, and they need to be emailed to schedule@usu.edu.
- All changes should be entered into Coursedog prior to the Schedule being locked.
- After the schedule is locked, departments can update Instructors and raise caps on classes if the classroom will hold additional seats.
- All other changes, the department will need to submit a change request in Coursedog to make the change.
