Resident Assistant
The Resident Assistant (RA) is a live-in position that actively participates in the development of a comprehensive Residence Life program. The RA will function as a peer resource, mentor, and advisor to residents. The RA position, due to its live-in nature, requires willingness to be called into service at any time of the day or night in order to meet students’ needs as they arise.
Success Mentor
The Aggie Smart Start and Aggies Thrive programs are academic and financial persistence programs for first-year and second-year students. The Success Mentor is assigned a group of approximately 10 students that have been accepted into a program and assists them in completing its initiatives. The Success Mentor will mostly work out of the Central Suites residence hall.
Office Manager
The Office Manager is a part-time, student position paid hourly for up to 20 hours per week. This position works in one of the eight area offices with the primary responsibility of managing the operations of the area office including scheduling office coverage, leadership for receptionists, and providing information and services to residents residing in the applicable community. The Office Manager reports to the Professional Staff who has oversight of the community to which they are assigned.
Receptionist
The Receptionist is part-time, student position paid hourly for up to 20 hours per week. They work in one of the six area offices with the primary responsibility of providing information and services to residents residing in the applicable community. The Receptionist reports to the Professional Staff who has oversight of the community to which they are assigned and may also receive instruction from the designated Office Manager.
