2026-2027 Single Housing Waitlist Open
The Single Student Housing sign-up process has transitioned to the third and final phase of sign-ups, the Waitlist process. Students who do not already have a 2026-27 housing contract may add their name to the waitlist and watch for emails, starting in May as spaces become available.

Building/Room Change Process
Students with a 2026-2027 on-campus housing contract are able to make building and room changes from May 2 to August 20, according to availability. Learn more by viewing the Room Change Instructions page.

The University will be closed on Friday, July 3, for Independence Day. The Main Housing Office and area offices will also be closed.

July 24: Utah Pioneer Day
The university will be closed on Friday, July 24, for Pioneer Day. The Main Housing Office and area offices will also be closed.

(with $200 housing security deposit refund)

For students who live on campus and wish to live on campus again for fall 2027.

Step One February 11, 2027 Request a housing application
Complete a short survey with
basic contact information.
This is first come, first served
and is limited to the first 800 students.

Cancellation Deadline April 15, 2027 Contract cancellation deadline
(with housing security deposit refund)

Contract sign-up process begins December 1. Beginning December 1, sign contract with same-day building, room, room type and bed space selection. Waitlist process begins April 1. The contract canellation date with a full $200 security deposit refund is April 15. Beginning May 3, spaces will offered to those on the waitlist according to availability.
