A Meal Plan Worth Loving
Having a meal plan is way more than just eating delicious food. When you have a meal plan, you don't have to spend time cooking and cleaning, which means more time for friends, studying, going to events and getting involved.
Housing Meal plans are valid at the Dining locations on campus. No matter where you are at USU, there's a place to eat nearby where you can use your meal plan.

Where to Eat
We have a variety of dining locations, including all you care to eat buffets, cafés and convenience stores. Each has healthy options and a variety of food and is only minutes away. Check out Dining Services for hours, locations, and menus.

Meal Plan Options
Housing Meal Plans
Housing meal plans are required for students living in either Suite Style or Bullen Hall (apartment style):
- Bullen Hall
- Canyon Crest Suites
- Central Suites
- Living Learning Community
- Richards Hall
Residents will be able to choose between the Unlimited Access, Semester 110 or Semester 55 Plans. The "swipes" portion of these meal plans (numbering 55, 110 or unlimited times per semester) applies to our two All-You-Care-To-Eat Dining Halls and expires at the end of the semester. Residents decide if they would like unlimited access to these two Dining Halls, or the allotted 110 or 55 times per semester.
Each meal plan also includes Dining Dollars which function like a debit card and can be used at the retail dining locations on campus. Dining Dollars do not expire and roll over from year to year, as long as students have a Dining Dollars balance on their account.
Changes to Housing Meal Plans can be made during the first two weeks of the semester. After upgrading or downgrading plans during the first two weeks, the price difference will be reflected on students' online banner accounts.

Block Meal Plans
Block Meal Plans are an excellent choice for those living in Apartment Style housing wishing to supplement some of their cooking. This meal plan can be used at the two All-You-Care-To-Eat Dining Halls. Residents can choose to pre-pay for 25, 50 or 75 entries or "swipes" into the Dining Halls which are loaded onto their student account and can be used at any time. Block Meal Plans never expire.

Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars are included with each of the three Housing Meal Plans options, with varying amounts depending on each meal plan. Students with or without a Housing Meal Plan can add Dining Dollars to their student account/ID.
When paying with Dining Dollars, students receive a 10% discount at the various on-campus Dining locations at USU. Dining Dollars may be added and re-loaded at any time in the USU Card Office. Dining Dollars never expire.
