International SOS Travel Registration

Per USU Policy 5303: International Travel, all travelers on USU sponsored trips to international destinations are required to participate in USU's International Travel Assistance and Insurance Program.  USU has contracted with International SOS to provide this medical and security travel assistance and with ACE/Chubb for international accident and sickness insurance.

To activate this coverage, travelers must register their international travel.

  • To register your trip, log into USU’s International SOS Member Portal. The Member Portal uses USU’s single sign on process.
    • If this is your first time logging into the Member Portal, you'll be asked to register as a new user.
    • If asked, USU's membership ID is 11BYSG000002.
    • o Once your account is created, click on the “My Travel Tools” tab and select “My Trips”.

Once your account is created, click on the “My Travel Tools” tab and select “My Trips”.  You'll first need to create a name for your trip and then enter your flight and/or hotel information.  You can create as many trips as you like as long as you have the appropriate flight and hotel information.

Note: Once you have saved your trip, watch for a Pre-trip Advisory Email from International SOS (online@internationalsos.com).  This email will have relevant health, safety, and security information pertinent to you destination.  It will also include a link to the TravelReady page where you can complete required export control attestations and declare any dependents who may be traveling with you.

Once you log in to TravelReady you should see your trip listed on My Tasks dashboard. Click on the “View Form” link to access the questionnaire for your trip.
