The Sexual Assault & Anti-Violence Information (SAAVI) Office is a campus-based office providing safe, confidential counseling, advocacy, and information to the USU community. SAAVI’s services are open to all USU students, staff, and faculty.
If you are located at one of USU's statewide campuses we can help you find resources in your local community. We can also provide you direct advocacy and therapy, virtually, simply fill out our client paperwork!
Get Help
SAAVI advocates go through a specialized 40-hour training and can help you navigate your options to get help and report, obtain a forensic exam, accompany you to the police, or answer questions about sexual violence, relationship violence, or stalking.
When a survivor first comes to SAAVI, they will meet with an advocate and learn the expectations and responsibilities for working with an advocate. The survivor is in control of their healing journey, and thus gets to decide which resources they would like to receive. Once the student decides the advocate will help the student get connected with each resource.
Support Groups
SAAVI Workshop Series
Our workshop series is a safe, carefree space for individuals to come connect, feel supported, and gain skills through interactive activities! Refreshments are always served.
Wednesday from 4 pm to 5 pm in the Taggart Student Center, Room 310

You can help ensure the safety of the USU campus by helping create an environment intolerant to violence and supporting friends or loved ones who have suffered interpersonal violence. Learn more about forms of violence and how you can stand up and speak out.
