Seely-Hinckley Scholarship

Established in 1985. 

This scholarship is established as an enduring memorial to two outstanding Utah men, John H. Seely, and Robert H. Hinckley. John H. Seely was an internationally famous breeder and improver of livestock. He was active in public service and held many offices of trust during his lifetime. Robert H. Hinckley has been a teacher an automobile distributor, an airline and broadcasting pioneer, a public servant, and a business executive of national prominence. Both men devoted much of their time to their families.  

The Seely-Hinckley Scholarships are intended to benefit future generations of students at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. 

The primary aim of this fund is to provide scholarships at Utah State University for students of superior attainment who otherwise would be unable to attend, or who would be delayed in attending, the Univeristy. 

Selection of recipients and amounts to be awarded to the recipients shall be the responsibility of Utah State University on an appropriate annual date chosen by the University.
