Volunteer
SSAVI volunteers are crucial for successful outreach and awareness campaigns! By engaging with peers and discussing both SSAVI services and the importance of violence prevention and spreading awareness, volunteers are at the core of culture change on USU’s campus. What does volunteering look like?
- Learn about victim advocacy as well as domestic and sexual violence, boundaries, consent and more at monthly meetings.
- Lead tabling and outreach efforts throughout the year.
- Design marketing materials that resonate with fellow students.
- Assist with large campus-wide events such as the Red Zone Fair, The Clothesline Project, Demin Day, Take Back the Night and more!
Please note that all volunteers must interview and go through training. This occurs at the beginning of each school year, generally in early September. If you are interested in volunteering, but this deadline has passed, please reach out at the beginning of the next school year to get involve and please stop by our events to meet the current team!
