Meet the Staff
Jenny,
MSW, LCSW, Director of SSAVI
Jenny has been with SSAVI since 2010 and served as Director for 13 years. With extensive experience in program management and development, domestic violence and sexual assault prevention work, direct advocacy and as a USU alum, she excels in caring for students who have experienced harm in the Logan community.
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family travelling, playing games, and eating good food! She loves animals and dreams of retiring and starting a cat sanctuary. In the meantime, she cares for the feral and stray cats in her neighborhood.
Erika,
MSW, Victim Advocate, Legal Consultant
Erika has been a SSAVI advocate for three years, strengthening SSAVI’s relationships with law enforcement and local resources. She is a federally Credentialed Advocate that allows her to provide legal advice on protective orders and stalking injunctions. With a bachelor’s degree in Constitutional Studies and master’s in Social Work from USU, she provides a wealth of knowledge and support for the USU community.
In her free time, Erika loves to try new restaurants in the valley with friends and even started a monthly foodie club. You can also find her creating new Asian-inspired dishes at home, including her famous Thai soup and curry. Butter, however, is her favorite food!
Ashleigh,
MSSP, Victim Advocate, Outreach + Prevention Coordinator
Ashleigh has seven years of campus advocacy experience, building programming and leading outreach efforts on campuses in Indiana and Pennsylvania. She studied Social Policy with a focus on health education at the University of Pennsylvania and design at Ball State University, where she was a Peer Educator with the Center for Survivor Support.
Outside of work, Ashleigh continues to feed her creativity by finding new furniture and art pieces for her 100-year-old house, photographing the canyon and reading psychological thrillers. She hopes to join Jenny in making a cat sanctuary a reality!
BreAnna
MSW, Victim Advocate
BreAnna is a dedicated victim advocate with SSAVI, where she has spent the past three years building and expanding in-person services across statewide campuses to better support survivors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from USU, bringing both strong academic training and hands-on experience to her work in advocacy and care.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting immersed in a good book, and exploring the outdoors. She especially loves hiking new trails and has a knack for finding unique and interesting rocks along the way.
