USU Young Alums Invited To Pre-Game Party Feb. 25
The Utah State University Alumni Association invites young alumni (defined loosely as alumni under 40 years of age, all alumni are welcome) and their families to a special Young Alumni pre-game party prior to tipoff of the Aggie Men’s Basketball game at the Spectrum, Saturday, Feb. 25. Game starts at 7 p.m.; pre-game starts at 5 p.m. at the USU Credit Union University Welcome Center, 890 E 700 North, Logan.
“This is the last time the USU’s Men’s Basketball will play at the Spectrum this year,” said Sian Smith, member of the USU Alumni Relations team. “We are so excited to see our young alumni and their families join us for a little fun before tipoff.”
Those attending the Young Alumni event will receive free Aggie Swag(gie), eat some snacks, play some family friendly games, hang out with Big Blue and even take pics in a DIY photo booth with Aggie props. Individual registration is $5; families register for $10.
“We are always excited to see our Young Alumni return to campus and bring with them the next generation of Aggie fans,” said Dave Clark, associate vice president for Alumni Relations at USU. “When our alumni are engaged and active, we are not only fulfilling our mission, but having a great time doing it.”
USU Athletics and Aggie Basketball Legends are offering additional activities throughout the day including an alumni basketball game and athletics facility tour. Other Aggie Days for alumni to watch for include the Swaner Snowcase in Park City Saturday, March 4 featuring cross country skiing, a movie, barbeque and crafts (info at usu.edu/alumni/snowcase); Baby Animal Days in partnership with USU Botanical Center in Davis County Saturday, May 6; Aggie Lagoon Day Friday, June 23; and the Alumni Golf Tournament Monday, August 28.
