AGGIES PLAY AT NEW MEXICO ON CBS SPORTS NETWORK
• Utah State continues Mountain West play at New Mexico on CBS Sports Network Saturday afternoon. USU is 17-4 (.810) all-time in the Mountain West and has won 28 of its last 32 (.875) league games dating back to 2011.
• Utah State has won 13 of its last 16 (.813) conference road games and 15 of its last 27 (.556) road games overall. Under head coach Matt Wells, USU is 7-3 in Mountain West road games and 8-10 overall in road games. During its last 13 conference road wins, USU is averaging 40.7 points and 494.3 yards per game, while its average margin of victory is 19.5 points per game.
AGGIES ONE WIN AWAY FROM BOWL ELIGIBILITY
• With a win at New Mexico, Utah State will be bowl eligible for the fifth-straight year. USU has played in four-straight bowl games and won each of its last three bowls, both of which are school records.
• Utah State concluded its 2014 season with a 21-6 win against UTEP in the GILDAN New Mexico Bowl.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR SATURDAY
• Utah State has scored 50 or more points in three of its last four games (56 at Fresno State, 52 vs. No. 21 Boise State, 58 vs. Wyoming), marknig only the second time in school history that USU has scored 50-plus points in three games in one season along with the 1961 team.
• Sophomore Kent Myers is 9-2 as Utah State's starting quarterback and the Aggies are 18-6 over the past three years with a backup quarterback as their starter.
• Utah State has won 15 of its last 16 games played during the month of November dating back to 2011, including six of its last seven on the road.
• Despite not forcing any turnovers in each of its last two games, Utah State has still forced 18 turnovers in its last six games with 10 fumbles and eight interceptions. On the season, USU ranks first nationally in fumbles recovered (10), 13th nationally in turnovers forced (18) and 23rd in the nation in turnover margin (+5).
• Utah State ranks 41st nationally in rushing defense (143.9 ypg), while New Mexico ranks 12th nationally in rushing offense (248.4 ypg).
• Utah State has won 19 straight games with a 100-yard rusher, including a 2-0 record this year, 23 of its last 24 games when it rushes at least 40 times, including a 4-0 record this year, and 20 straight games when it rushes for 200 yards, including a 3-0 record this year.
