Brigham City Campus Faculty Member Travels to Portugal

Dale Wagner, the newly-appointed Brigham City campus HPER professor has been invited to present at an international symposium, announced Jack Payne, vice present and dean for University Extension. Wagner will travel to Portugal to attend the Symposium on Nutrition, Physical Activity and Health, sponsored by the Universidade Lusofona.
 
Universidade Lusofona is the largest private university in Portugal, where 200 new physical educators earn degrees in physical education and sport each year.
 
Wagner, whose travel expenses are provided by the symposium, will lecture Nov. 27 on fitness assessment.
 
Wagner is co-author, with Vivian Heyward, of a text that is used in many undergraduate HPER courses.
