Most Excellent

Utah State magazine received a 2005 Award of Excellence from the Southwest Region of the Society for Technical Communication. This is the second year in a row that Utah State magazine has won this award. There were 95 entries in this year’s competition.

 

Judges for the competition spoke highly of the USU publication.

 

“A publication is about its audience and we applaud you for paying close attention to what your readers want and need to know in order to feel connected to your university,” judges said in the magazine’s evaluation. “You have done a fine job of writing to different age groups and presenting information of varying topics. The design is appealing, clean and tidy. The feature artwork is very attractive. This is an excellent publication with consistently high standards for content and design.”
