Peak Performance

USU researcher Dale Wagner is studying the positive effects that high-altitude training can have on athletic performance. Training at high-altitudes increases the amount of red blood cells and red blood cells carry oxygen. Wagner says if you have more oxygen-carrying capacity, you have a better aerobic capability.
