USU President Invites All Employees to Campus Picnic

Utah State University President Brad L. Mortensen has invited all faculty and staff across the university system for a campus picnic on the Quad in Logan to kick off the new academic year. Employees are encouraged to drop by for lunch when they can between 12:30 and 2 p.m. Aug. 18.

“I’m so excited to connect with our university community and hear about the remarkable work our faculty and staff are doing in the areas of research, teaching and outreach,” Mortensen said. “I hope to make this an annual gathering where we can hang out and get to know each other more.”

For those unable to attend the campus picnic in Logan, Mortensen and his leadership team will also again tour USU campuses across the state Oct. 27-30 to connect with faculty, staff, students and local community members. Statewide campuses will hear more about the tour in the coming months.
