LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University student Kyla Dahle, a double major in psychology and English with a focus on creative writing, recently completed the Spanish as a Foreign Language Teaching and Learning Course (CLCE) at the University of La Rioja in Spain.
Dahle participated in the program during the fall semester, with support from a foundation scholarship and USU Study Abroad. The course provided an immersive experience in Spanish language instruction, expanding her linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.
“Kyla’s dedication and commitment to the program were exemplary,” said Margaret Stanny, Study Abroad advisor. “We are confident that the knowledge and skills she has gained will serve her well as she continues her academic and professional pursuits. This experience underscores the value of international partnerships facilitated by USU Study Abroad, which empower students to explore the world while enriching their academic and cultural perspectives.”
The University of La Rioja’s Transformation Plan Delegation supported Dahle throughout the program, and university officials have invited her to remain engaged with their academic community.
Dahle’s participation is one example of how USU is committed to student experience. Study Abroad program applications are currently open for students interested in similar opportunities.
