USU's 2026 Employee Appreciation Day Schedule Announced

The USU Office of Human Resources has announced events for Utah State University’s Employee Appreciation Day on Oct. 2.

Logan campus activities will be hosted at Maverik Stadium, with specific statewide campus activities listed below. Employees must bring their USU ID card or A# to access the event.

Logan Campus Activities

Pulled pork sandwiches, drinks, and Aggie Ice Cream.
Flu shot clinic.
Swag and prizes.
Tours of West Stadium Athletic venue.
Aggie gear sold by the USU Campus Store.
Paper airplane throwing contest.
Field activities, including:
- Football field goal kick: Imagine yourself as your favorite USU player and see if you can score a field goal.
- Putting with the USU Police: See if you can score a hole-in-one using a large golf putter.

Statewide Campus Activities

Wasatch Region

Activity: Music bingo, lunch, and a movie.
Date and time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 2.
Location: USU Salt Lake campus in Taylorsville.
RSVP deadline: Sept. 28.

Blanding

(Includes Blanding, Monticello, Montezuma Creek, and Monument Valley employees.)

Activity: Lunch and games.
Date and time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2.
Location: Blanding campus.

Brigham City

(Includes Brigham City, Kaysville, and Tremonton employees.)

Activity: Readathon event with snacks.
Date and time: 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 2.
Location: Brigham City Main Street Building.

Tooele

Activity: Lunch in Salt Lake City and Hale Theater Play.
Date and time: 12:30 p.m. Oct. 23.

Play RSVP deadline: Has passed.

Eastern

Activity: Music Bingo & Lunch.

Location: Price Campus, Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Multipurpose Room.

Employee Appreciation Day is coordinated by the Office of Human Resources with support from other USU departments and sponsorship from benefit partners. The goal of this day is to celebrate all USU employees by providing some food, fun, and recognition for all employees do for USU and students.
