Utah DMV Releases Two New USU License Plates That Support Student Scholarships, Athletics
By Marcus Jensen |
LOGAN, Utah — Looking for a way to showcase your Aggie pride while also supporting Utah State University students? USU fans now have two new ways to represent the university on the roadway.
The Utah Division of Motor Vehicles has released two rebranded USU specialty license plates featuring the university's U State logo. Drivers can choose between an Aggie Blue plate with the white U State logo or a white plate with the Aggie Blue U State logo. Both designs are available to anyone who wishes to purchase one.
Show your support and choose to make a $35 annual contribution with one of two Utah State license plate options: By choosing the blue plate, you make it possible for the Alumni Association to award scholarships each year to deserving students. The white plate helps USU recruit and retain our best and brightest student-athletes. Plates may be personalized with up to five alphanumeric characters.
The impact of scholarship support at Utah State is significant. Since the inception of the USU license plate, patrons have helped raise more than $3.25 million in scholarship support. According to the university's latest data, last year USU awarded more than $92 million in scholarships to more than 13,000 students, helping make higher education more accessible for students across Utah and beyond.
