When Temperatures Drop, Think Citrus

During winter’s chill, tropical fruits may seem out of place, but oranges, grapefruits, lemons and limes are readily available this time of year, says Utah State University Extension Agent Pauline Williams. Citrus fruits are packed with nutrients that bolster your immune system. “One orange provides 130 percent of the daily value of vitamin C, contains only 70 calories and is fat free,” she says.
