In order to help our GEAR UP graduates from Granite School District, the GEAR UP LEVEL UP team hosted GEAR UP & GO, an event where students and their families could network and learn about their options following high school.

On September 18th, GEAR UP hosted a kickoff event for the Granite Class of 2024 at the PROG Development Center in West Valley City. The event welcomed students and their families for an evening of networking and support, featuring a complimentary dinner and a resource fair. The purpose was to assist the Class of 2024 in exploring their post-high school options.
Several vendors, including Tooele Technical College, the Department of Workforce Services, and Grammarly, were present to offer valuable information about various pathways. A total of 45 people attended, including students, parents and other family members. Students also had the opportunity to talk with their GEAR UP Advisors, who are committed to providing ongoing support as they transition beyond high school.
As the school year progresses, GEAR UP will continue hosting monthly events and offering resources to help the Granite Class of 2024 navigate their future.
