Professionals from Regal Barber Co., PL Beauty Academy, Cameo College of Essential Beauty, Salt Lake Mid City Salon, Twisted by Trish, a hair braider and Nik Archer, a tattoo artist, met with students and shared their career paths. Students interacted with the professionals at the event by collecting stamps from each one they spoke with. For every three stamps, students received a treat.

“This simple activity encouraged meaningful conversations, built confidence and helped students practice professional communication,” said Natalie Dallimore, Eisenhower Jr. High site coordinator.

Students were engaged, enthusiastic and enjoyed connecting with talented community professionals.
